1977 - Haney's Photography was founded in Moorhead, MN as Portraits by James. Currently, in addition to James, two of his sons, twins Gabe & Greg, also work as professional photographers. In 1999, they changed the name to Haney's Photography to reflect the sons involvement. It is Haney's philosophy that the most important aspect of professional photography is to capture the best and most spontaneous expressions. The object of Haney's philosophy is to ignite within their clients the feeling that 'this is me, at my very best.' Not always possible, but with this philosophy as the basis for their business, they achieve this more often than not.

Haney's Photography in Fargo
In order to reach this level of expression and spontaneity, the Haneys work fast and less obtrusively than other wannabe 'photographers.' Their work is always built around the notion that 'your subject mirrors your expression.' This level of rapport is vital to build a wonderful classic photographic portrait.
